Kevin | Owner & Master Mechanic
Kevin is a master bicycle mechanic who has been working on bikes since the Reagan administration. He can build you a new wheel or salvage wheels most mechanics would not even attempt to true. Kevin is an avid road rider, mountain biker, gravel grinder, and was a BMXer in his younger days. His bike soccer skills aren't too bad either.
Nicole | Sales Manager
Nicole started riding with her fiancé Greg. After he passed away, she continued to enjoy cycling and the outdoors. Nicole loves taking time to understand the customers’ needs and find what works for them. She also loves working the VA and helping riders with adaptations to get them riding. When not riding her Trek Allant+ 7S, you can find Nicole hanging out with her daughter Sophia and dog Meryl. She loves hiking, kayaking, fishing and enjoying a drink at a local spot.
Blake | Service Manager
Our Service Manager Blake has been with Sioux Falls Bicycle Company since 2019. Blake came to our shop with a passion for the bicycle industry starting bike sales and repair when he was only 14 years old! Blake has worked in bike shops in Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota. Blake's main focus is his 8 year old daughter and trying new things to keep life interesting. Blake tells us the best part about working in a bike shop is making people happy and healthy with biking as a great lifestyle option.
Madrid | Service Tech
Madrid is one of our amazing bike techs! “I have been riding bikes of many different styles for as long as I can remember. For the past few years I have focused on mountain biking mainly. I enjoy single track around town when I get time for it. Working at SFBC is a great opportunity that I'm grateful for. Helping customers keep their bikes going is very pleasing for me.”
Gene | Sales
I have been in cycling for over 30 years. I trained and rode competitively for over 10 years while living in Texas achieving category 3 status as a road racer. I have participated in many cycling events including the Hotter Than Hell Hundred, Tour de Brew QC, TOMRV, RAGBRAI, Tour de Corn, Tour de Kota, the Triple Bypass in Colorado and RASDAK. I served on the board of Falls Area Bicyclists for three years as Ride Director. I was one of the original organizers and serve on the board of Pedal FARR. I have been working at SFBC since 2015. I enjoy working at SFBC and helping our customers discover their passion for cycling.
Amanda | Sales
Amanda is new to the cycling industry and has been soaking up knowledge like the sunshine. We can’t wait to get her test riding bikes this season! Her business and sales background makes her a great addition to the SFBC team. When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, and being outdoors.
